Facebook Services

Facebook launched Facebook Services to allow it's users to find local business. This is also to complete with Yelp for customer reviews and star rankings. Facebook is also trying to capture audience from Google local listings and user reviews. Local businesses and organizations with the best Facebook reviews and ratings will be listed at the top of the Facebook Services search list.

The Facebook Services search pages allows users to enter a category like Pizza Places, Asian Restaurants, Barbecue Restaurants, etc. Te page will pickup the user's location or a different location may be entered. The results of the search are displayed based on the user ratings in Facebook as well as reviews.
